Leviticus Chapters 3 and 4

The Book of Leviticus ( Continued):

The Law of The Peace Offering ;

  • The peace offering should be offered being male or female without a blemish .
  • Killed before the congregation .
  • The blood is sprinkled round about the altar.
  • The Kidneys and the liver should be taken away
Background:

The Peace Offering is brought before the Lord in order to show fellowship and is an expressions of thanksgiving . This Offering shows commitment to God and the reconciliation between that person and God.

The fact that is present is the life of the sacrificial offering and your life beginning to be brand new with God.

* The peace offering is any animal that is without defect which is what your confession is without defect.

Chapter 4 The Sin Offering:

A sin Offering will be presented if a man/woman sin through there life.

  • The bullock shall be killed and the blood will be brought to the tabernacle and the priest will anoint the altar ( as like Aaron).
  • The sin Offering is done because of sin that is completed through ignorance of people .
  • By the priest annotating the altar it will be atonement made by the priest.
  • Within in the Offering he shall take away all the fat and pieces of the lamb that will show purity.
Background:

God required a sin offering in order that those who sinned of ignorance or weakness, the sin offering is restitution for the sin. Sin comes  from rebellious disposition of Gods people. As a result of sin God will bring judgement also the spiritual death unless his people confess and repent from there soul and he will remove the sin and the person will be renewed .

This Offering to symbolize the removal of sin. This is a mandation of atonement for his people of there unintentional sin , the confession of there sin for the forgiveness of there of sin and the cleansing and the defilement .

Leviticus Part I

Leviticus is the third book of Moses. This book records the israelitis were delivered from Egypt . The book concludes with the Glory of The Lord coming to individuals the new instruction.

Leviticus contains Gods instruction given to Moses during the two months of the completion of the tabernacle .

The book of Leviticus was written to instruct the Israelites about to access God by attaining the blood and to make clean Gods standard of Holy Living for his chosen people.

This book focuses on the atonement and holiness by way of atonement Gods people would receive redemption.


  • The bringing of the offering ( Leviticus 1) it shall be of cattle even of the herd of the flock.
  • The first offering is the law of the burnt offering which is the sacrificial offering that shall be brought clean and purged of blood and must be covered with sweet savor. The offering is then brought upon the altar to the priest and shall be burned with wood upon the altar unto The Lord.
  • Burnt offering ascends to God.
  • The complete consecration to God means essential to true worship.
  • The offering represented the cleanliness of the sin of the person to emphasized that a worshiper has devoted themselves to God.
  • When the hand of the Israelites was placed on the head of the animal that the person may appear to identify with the animal.
  • The similarity to the dead animal represents the death of the person from the sin but reborn in salvation.
Chapter Two The Meat Offering:
  • The meat offering is again brought to Aaron the priest with the meat in a cooled flour and oil poured upon it and frankincense . Then the bread is made unleavened bread and mingled with oil
  • This meat is not seasoned with gult or honey that the priest will burn the memorial of it. 
  • The meat offering is a gift presented to God of the fruits of the annoiting,
  • This has implied that all human work should be done of The Lord.
  • People of God yeast is leaven and honey were forbidden to be used on the altar because it would aid firmentation.
